NV Wildlife Commission considers project funding
The Nevada Wildlife Commission will consider conservation projects proposed for funding through hunter fees when it meets this week in Lovelock. Twenty-two projects are proposed totaling more than $373,000 from duck stamp fees.

Alcohol ban July 4 at Douglas County Tahoe beaches
Douglas County authorities are getting out the word about the alcohol ban at a Lake Tahoe beach on the Fourth of July. An ordinance outlawing alcohol on that day was enacted several years ago to crack down on problems that come with public intoxication.
